Groundhog Breakfast

6 to 8 am

Snowflake High School Cafeteria

The public is welcome to a free breakfast of eggs, sausage, hash browns, and biscuits with “groundhog” gravy. Prepared by the local Fire and Police Departments and served by representatives of the Snowflake and Taylor Town Councils.

Trapper Days

Activities include a Veteran’s Memorial Program, tour of historic homes, Tint Sprint Fun Run, Dog Show.

Taylor Independence Day Celebration & Night rodeo

July 5 and 6

Held at Taylor Rodeo Park

There will be an Arts & Crafts Show both days, food vendors, a flag raising ceremony, firing of the anvil, rodeo, cowboy poetry, dance, patriotic program, and fireworks.

Snowflake Pioneer Days Celebration

July 19 and 20

Parade, Arts and Crafts Show, Car Show, food vendors, kids’ entertainment, dances, Pioneer Days run, golf tournament, theatrical performances, a two-day rodeo, and fireworks are all part of the fun. Event times and locations will be announced in late spring.

Taylor
Sweet Corn Festival

August 31

Parade, Arts and Crafts Show, food vendors, entertainment, kids’ horseless rodeo, and lots of fresh, local sweet corn are all part of this festival celebrating the harvest of Taylor farmers’ primary crop — Sweet Corn. A fun run and cornhole tournament will also be held. A hay ride and historic home tour will be held Monday, September 2.

Pioneer Park in Snowflake

Arts and Crafts, food vendors, entertainment, Game Zone for kids, and wagon rides to the Willis Family Farm pumpkin patch & corn maze.

Monster Bash Awards Dinner & Auction

Winners announced and awards presented for various business of the year categories and for business man and business woman of the year. Dinner, raffles, games to raise funds for the chamber round out the evening. Be sure to wear your best Halloween costume.

Snowflake Town Lighting

December 2

Snowflake kicks off the holiday season with a traditional Town Lighting Ceremony, arrival of Santa, entertainment and free cocoa to be enjoyed by all.

Taylor Live Nativity

December 9 and 11

Live nativity performances and hot cocoa served.
